Bloemfontein Celtic’s new coach, Clinton Larsen will hope to lead his side and claim the three points against Mpumalanga Black Aces in an Absa Premiership on Wednesday night at Mbombela Stadium.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
AmaZayoni are fresh from a 2-2 draw when they fought back from two down, but Tendai Ndoro’s brace ensured they got a point,.
However, Siwelele are also coming from a goalless draw against Moroka Swallows last weekend.
Clive Barker’s men are sitting at position seven on the log with 21 points from 15 games while the Bloemfontein side are occupying the 10th spot with 17 points.
Although Ndoro has credited Clive Barker as the man behind his goalscoring prowess, he believes they can stun Celtic.
“I believe credit must go to the coach because he’s great in motivating us – we’re happy with our progress so far,” added the former Chicken Inn man.
“The coach is doing everything to bring the best out of us, that’s why we’re motivated and coming to Celtic.
“We aim to outclass them, yes they play good football, but we’re at home and we must try to win it for everybody associated with the club.
“We’re ready as we want to finish the year on a high, so we need the points at all costs.”
Following their goalless draw against the Dube Birds, Siwelele hierarchy opted to part ways with coach Ernst Middendorp and swiftly roped in Clinton Larsen.
He said Aces are doing very well under coach Barker and they cannot undermine them, they’ll do everything to fight for the points.
“There are no easy games in the PSL anymore and Aces are doing very well under Barker,” added Larsen.
“Aces will be a tough nut to crack for us but we also have great players who can match them on the day.
”I personally relish the chance to work in the club once again and we’ll do our best to win games.
