Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has extended his contract by another season with Belgian champions KAA Gent which will see him stay at the Ghelamco Arena until 2019.
Simon moved to the Buffaloes from Slovakian side AS Trencin a year ago and helped them to win a first ever Belgian leagues title last season.
The 20-year-old banged in seven goals in 15 matches as Gent surprised everyone to win the domestic title in Belgium.
Despite a slow start to the season occasioned by injury, Simon has been in good form of recent and was also an integral part of Gent’s qualification for the knock-out stage of the Uefa Champions League.
“I’m glad with the contract and I thank God for everything he has done for me. I’m happy to extend my contract with Gent,” he told supersport.com
“My focus now is to do my best for the team. I want to help Gent do well in the league and the Uefa Champions League.” he added.
Simon has also been in good form for the Super Eagles scoring two goals in his last three matches.
