Two new signings for Rise and Shine

Polokwane City signed two new players on Friday before the close of the transfer window to strengthen their squad for the rest of the season, the club announced.
They are joined by midfielders Edgar Manaka, who moves from Lamontville Golden Arrows, and Themba Mavundla, released by Maritzburg United.
The 26-year-old Manaka started just one match for Arrows this season after he moved from Platinum Stars, where in the 2014-15 campaign he had also had bit-part role with one start for the club. He also previously played at Black Leopards.
The 23-year-old Mavundla has not yet made any appearances in the Absa Premiership but did play at Baroka FC and Sivutsa Stars in the National First Division.
“I have been following both their careers, seeing them grow and mature and I think that they have done remarkably well for themselves. They chose us and we will do whatever it takes to make them feel at home,” said Polokwane City owner Johnny Mogaladi in a club statement.
No details of the contract were released.
The club have released Batiste Faye and two goalkeepers, Dino Visser and Kgothatso Mashia.
Brazilian fitness trainer Marco Munhouz joins the club to replace Eduardo Langer.
