Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-0 in a practice game in Abuja on Wednesday.
The game was part of preparations ahead of preparations for the 2014 African Nations Championship (Chan) in South Africa.
Nanen Imenger and Ikechukwu Azubuike were the goal scorers for Nigeria and Keshi stated afterwards that he was impressed with the physical attributes of the opposition which he predicted would help his wards at the 2014 Chan.
Nigeria will face South Africa, Mozambique and Mali in the preliminary stages of the competition which gets underway in January.
The Super Eagles will be making their debut in the tournament.
