Musa’s EPL dream goes up in smoke

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa will not play in the Barclays English Premier League, at least not for now.
This was after his much-publicised move to English Premier League leaders Leicester City collapsed on deadline day.
Leicester City made two official bids for the CSKA Moscow man but both offers were turned down by the 12-time Russian champions.
The Russians wanted £23 million for the wide man but Leicester’s valuation of the player was deemed insufficient.
Leicester’s second improved offer for the former VVV-Venlo man was in the region of £18 million, five million short of CSKA’s valuation for the 23-year-old.
The bid was rejected.
Musa has six goals in 18 league matches for CSKA this season.
