Ghana failed to avoid setting up the ‘early’ clash against in-form rivals Nigeria as they lost their last game against Mali to finish second in Group B.
Nonetheless, Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh remains unperturbed about meeting the free-scoring Flying Eagles at the semi-finals of the Senegal Championship.
“I’m not disappointed with the outcome,” Tetteh said on the defeat to Mali.
“I’m not afraid to face Nigeria in the semi-finals. At the beginning we were not fixed on playing a particular opponent. We will pick ourselves up and try to beat Nigeria. At this competition every game has its own realities,”the 2009 winner added.
