Zamalek director Ismail Yousef has assured that they will seek to have a good start in the Caf Confederation Cup when they play against Rayon Sports of Rwanda.
Rayon Sports qualified to the round of 32 in the Confederation Cup after they defeated Panthere Sportive du Nde 2-0 on aggregate.
"We seek a good start in the African Confederation Cup against Rayon. We watched them in many matches and know their strong points, and we knew they will qualify especially after their first leg against Panthere Sportive du Nde in Cameroon. They are a good team," Yousef said.
"The Egyptian embassy will send us more (clips of the) matches of Rayon. Our head coach needs to know more about them as we have respect for them."
Zamalek will host Rayon in the first leg in El Gounah Stadium after recommendation from the ministry of interior for security reason that the schedule be moved away from the Cairo International Stadium.
The Giza-based team qualified for this year's edition of the Caf Confederation Cup after they won the Egypt Cup last season.
Zamalek were one of the clubs drawn bye in the first round of Africa's second tier club competition by Caf.
