Caps United began their pre-season friendlies on a low key after falling down 2-0 to Zambian side Kabwe Warriors at the National Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
Kabwe Warriors scored in each half to down the Harare giants. It was recovery for the Zambians who on Sunday were beaten 2-0 by Dynamos in another international friendly match at Rufaro Stadium.
But they rose to upstage Caps United and will return to Zambia with a win. Caps United coach Lloyd Chitembwe paraded new signings Devon Chafa, Dennis Dauda and Allen Gahadzikwa in the starting line-up.
Also getting a run were other new acquisitions Brian Abbass Amidu, goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda and Method Mwanjali.
United will now focus on their 10-day tour of South Africa slated for next month.
