Archibong rubbishes NFF records

Akwa Starlets’ wonder-boy, Utibe Archibong, has told supersport.com that he scored four goals in the 2013 Federation Cup and not five credited to him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Archibong disclosed this in an online interview with supersport.com from Oman, where he missed a chance to join Selalah based Al-Ittihad in the recently launched Omani Professional Football League.
“I scored two goals against Kwara United in the Round of 62 and one goal each against Abia Warriors and Lobi Stars, in the Round of 32 and Quarterfinals respectively.
"The Federation Cup offered the players in Akwa Starlets a rare chance to play against top sides like Kwara United, Dolphins as well as Lobi and we give it our best,” Archibong said to supersport.com.
There are strong indications that Archibong will still play in Oman as three other clubs have been enquiries about him.
Archibong has been one of the revelations of the Federation Cup and is already a target of several top sides in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
