Walia play with changed mentality

Three years ago Ethiopia Walia Ibex players had a losing mentality and discipline was a major issue in the team that suffered from lack of confidence.
That has all changed with the introduction of a psychologist.
Endaik Assefa; the team's psychologist says it has been a tough road but he is impressed with the overall performance since he started sessions with the team.
The man from Posterity psychology therapy and training centre intimated to supersport.com the level of work he put on the team to give them the winning mentality they have now.
"I am proud to see Walia now believing in themselves .In the previous years the players had a big attitude problem and most of them were not able to cope with life pressures but this has changed as we have been giving them cancelling sessions together with team building that has helped improve the cohesion and team work that has led to success in the pitch."
"Many people do not realise the hard work put in place but everyday I go through sessions with the players to give them the confidence and determination that is why they now have a winning spirit that has manifested itself throughout the team. We are still working on certain aspects but we are very impressed by their personal development that has led to success," Endaik told supersport.com.
