Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has sealed a return to German football by agreeing a deal with TSV 1860 Munchen.
Annan only left Schalke 04 on a free barely a year ago and later joined Finnish champions HJK Helsinki in a short term deal.
The 28-year-old after passing his medical on Monday, has become the club’s first winter signing and is expected to bring to bear, his wealth of experience on the relatively young 1860 Munchen squad.
Speaking of the arrival of the 64-capped Ghana international at the club’s training camp in Marbella, 1860’s Sporting Director, Gerhard Poschner said; "With Tony Annan we have a player commits to produce even more defensive stability for our team.”
Anthony Annan is a travelled man – previously playing for Norway’s Stabaek and Rosenborg, Spain’s Osasuna, Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands, Schalke 04 and his last spell at Helsinki.
