Seydou Keita is sulking at the lack of character in his Mali team during this Afcon.
The veteran has seen his side fail to protect their leads in their opening two games, as the Eagles have conceded two late equalisers.
First, it was against Cameroon, and then Cote d'Ivoire. Both times goals against them came in the 84th and 87th minutes respectively, before conceding equalisers.
Both games finished 1-1.
"We are very disappointed. When you look at our two games against Cameroon and Cote d'Ivoire, it is only small details that cost us the win," Keita said.
"Once more, we gave up two deserved points."
Now the Malians will play the enterprising Guinea side on Wednesday, with a quarters place at stake.
A draw might be sufficient for both to progress if the other game between Cameroon and Cote d'Ivoire ends in a lower score draw.
The strange Group D has all four teams level on two points, level on head-to-head, level on goal difference, and level on goals scored and conceded as well.
