Liberia see positives in Wafu

Liberia lost 2-0 to Senegal in the GoTv Wafu Cup on Tuesday meaning their competition had come to an end. Thomas Kojo chose to see the positives, however.
The vanquished coach of Liberia, was grateful for the opportunity the tournament gave him to see the strengths of his side despite their bottom placed finish in Group B.
"Even though we lost today, I am asking our people not to be disappointed because our team is a work in progress. We did not have the right amount of preparation for the tournament but we just wanted to represent our country.
"We thank WAFU for the opportunity and for the technical team, it gave us a chance to see the players we would want to select for the new national team."
Liberia came in to replace Gabon just before the start of the competition and that was the reason behind their poor performance in their coach's estimation.
Ghana will play Senegal in the final on Thursday with Burkina Faso and Togo facing off in the third and fourth place playoff.
Both matches will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium min Kumasi.
