Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Emenike has been ruled out of action for the next three weeks after pulling up with an injury on Monday.
The attacker hobbled off injured during Fenerbahçe’s Turkish SuperLig game against Konyaspor with Mehmet Topuz replacing him in the 80th minute at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadyumu.
Following tests carried out on the injury by the club’s doctors, it has now been revealed that the problem will sideline the 26-year-old for a few weeks.
Authoritative Turkish website, turkishfootball.com reported that Emenike will be sidelined for the next three weeks.
It further reported that Cameroonnian forward, Pierre Webo will be expected to fill the void left by the big striker’s absence.
Emenike has scored eight league goals in 17 league appearances for Fenerbahçe this season.
