Nigeria, Ghana too close to call

Former Nigeria international Ibrahim Ndala believes Wednesday's African Nations Championship (Chan) semifinal between Nigeria and Ghana is a balanced tie that could go either way.
He said both teams play the same way, and that the winner would most likely be the side that scores first.
He added that Nigeria must avoid losing concentration in the opening minutes of the match, as it may be hard to recover against a well-organised and disciplined side like the Black Stars.
"Matches between Nigeria and Ghana are very intense at any level, and I don’t expect this one to be different," Ndala told supersport.com.
"Both sides have improved as the tournament progressed, and they play almost the same pattern. They both build up gradually from the middle and then spread the ball wide.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel themselves out. This match could go to penalties.
"My main concern about the Eagles is that they have lacked concentration in the opening five minutes of all their matches.
"They have presented the opposition with easy chances within that period.
"I'm afraid that if Ghana take the lead, it may not be as easy to come back as they did against Mozambique and Morocco.
"They must do their best not to fall behind, by being compact and marking well."
He added: "I feel Nigeria could nick it if they maintain a high level of concentration from start to finish, because our strikers are capable of at least scoring a goal while the game is still open."
Ndala is a former Nigeria under-17, under-20 and under-23 international. He is a key member of the Nigerian side that won silver at the soccer event of the 2003 All Africa Games.
