Eagles unsure of Enyeama

Nigeria captain and goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, will have to wait till Friday to determine if he will be in between the sticks for the 2015 Afcon qualifying match against Congo in Pointe-Noire this Saturday.
Officials of the African champions told supersport.com that the LOSC Lille goalkeeper arrived the Nigerian camp in Abuja with a "slight shoulder injury," and has been closely watched by the team doctors and coaches.
But the 32-year-old goalkeeper is now close to full recovery from the shoulder problem and could start in goal for the Super Eagles against Congo's Red Devil if he does not suffer a relapse.
Enyeama was part of the Super Eagles training on Thursday morning, and the team's goalkeeping trainer, Ike Shorunmu, hinted he will have to undergo one last training session in Pointe-Noire to ascertain his fitness level.
"Vincent is okay for now. Yes he has a slight shoulder injury which is not very serious as it was initially thought. But as a precautionary measure, we will still put him through a last training session which we will have in Congo tomorrow (Friday)," Shorunmu disclosed to supersport.com.
"We are hoping nothing goes wrong with him as he is, at present, in fine condition and he is mentally and physically ready for the game. But if he will start the game depends on tomorrow's (Friday's) training session which will be the last before the match on Saturday."
Spokesman of the team, Ben Alaiya, also hinted that the team doctors say Enyeama is "99% fit for the Congo match barring any last-minute trouble."
Enyeama has featured in two of the four 2015 Afcon qualifying matches. Both matches were against Sudan in Khartoum and in Abuja in October.
The former Enyimba goalkeeper has made 97 appearances for Nigeria since his debut in 2002.
