Keshi sure of victory

Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Stephen Keshi is confident the Super Eagles will defeat Congo in a 2015 Africa Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday.
The two sides will go toe to toe at the Stade Municipal, Pointe-Noire with a defeat effectively ruling out Nigeria from the 2015 finals.
Keshi however believes his charges will do the country proud in Pointe-Noire.
“I am sure we will win (on Saturday). We have done everything on our part. Now we just have to ask Nigerians to pray for us,” Keshi exclusively told supersport.com just before the team departed for Pointe-Noire on Friday morning.
The “Big Boss” also then spoke about the artificial surface which the game will be played, stressing that “it will not be a problem”.
“We know what to expect. It’s never an easy thing and that is why I left out Victor Moses from this trip (to Congo) because he’s just recovering an injury.
‘All the boys I selected are warriors who will fight to the death on Saturday,” he added.
Keshi took charge of the team’s final training session before departure, on Thursday but the media was shut out.
Reports reaching supersport.com however states that the “Big Boss” juggled players between the “possibles and the probables”, that practically made it impossible for anyone to guess his start list for the game against the Diables Rouges.
Keshi simply said at the end of the training session that the team has worked hard enough and the result will show on Saturday.
“Tell Nigerians to just pray for the team and have the believe that we can deliver”, he declared.
