Al Ahly leave out Salahdin for Super Cup

Al Ahly head coach Juan Carlos Garrido has named his 20-man squad without Ethiopian striker Salahdin Said for their clash against ES Setif of Algeria in the African Super Cup on Saturday.
The Egyptian club will leave Cairo on Thursday morning to Algeria ahead of the clash at the Moustapha Chatker Stadium.
Garrido ruled out Ethiopian international Salahdin from the team for technical reasons, while there is also no place for midfielder Mohamed Rezk due to injury.
The Cairo-based team have been boasted by the return of goalkeeper Ahmed Adel who just recovered following an injury he picked up in the final match of African Confederation Cup against Sewe Sport.
Al Ahly will have two training sessions in Algeria on Thursday and Friday before the big game against Caf Champions League holders, ES Setif.
The Cairo Red Devils also have their new signings, Momen Zakaria and Peter Ebimobowei available for the trip. Zakaria will play his first African match while Nigerian striker Ebimobowei, who suffered a muscle injury last week is in the squad.
