It's not just that Ghana are racking up Afcon wins, but Avram Grant sees game-by-game improvement too.
The Black Stars lived up to the age-old tag of being 'slow starters', and won thrice since an initial 2-1 loss to Senegal in Group C of the ongoing Afcon.
The team sealed a classy 3-0 win on Sunday against a lacklustre Guinea, after which Grant made the observation.
"I felt the team continued with the good attitude and mentality and that was the basis of all we did and the players showed a lot of quality and for me, that was important," the Israeli said post-match.
"This is not a team we built for just one match and in every game, we have showed an improvement from the previous one. This is a good indication of the players and how the team is doing."
An early tap in and then a stunning long ranger from Christian Atsu came before Kwesi Appiah gave the Black Stars the win which sees them into the semis.
"We played very well on the day. It was quarter final against a very good team but we closed them down and did not let them play their game."
