The Black Satellites defeated their Azerbaijan counterparts 2-1 in the first warm-up game at their Turkey camp.
Ghana’s Under-20 side moved to Antalya last weekend and have since been putting final touches to their preparations for the 2015 Africa Youth Championship (AYC) slated for Senegal from March 8 to 22.
Right to Dreams Academy forward Thomas Yeboah and Tema Youth’s Jonathan Osabutey scored both goals as Azerbaijan pulled one back to end the friendly at 2-1.
Coach Sellas Tetteh dropped four players and submitted his final 21-man squad for the AYC to Caf on Thursday, February 26.
The Black Satellites will take on the Iraq Under-20 team in a final friendly on March 2.
