Wolves to end Dedebit Cup hopes

Warri Wolves attacking midfielder Ikechukwu Ibenegbu has said his side will complete the job in Warri against the Ethiopian opponents, Dedebit FC.
The Seasiders will host the East African side in the first leg second round of the Caf Confederation Cup clash on Saturday at the Warri Township Stadium.
Ibenegbu claimed that his side know very little of the Ethiopian foes but insisted that his side are capable of taking any opponents to the cleaners.
“We just want to get the job completely done in Warri. Nigeria then head off to Addis Ababa for a formality match.
“That’s how we want to go about the Saturday’s Confederation Cup clash against Dedebit FC.
“We know very little about the Ethiopian side, at least, we’re aware they’ve about five of their players in the national team.
“Warri Wolves, too equally have a sizeable number of national team players in their midst who can match any opponents in the world.
“That’s not to say we’re going to underrate the visitors though but we’re determined to win convincingly right here at our backyard in order to make the reverse fixture quite easy.
“I’ve already shaken off the fatigue as a result of the Supersand Eagles campaign in the eight-team invitational tournament in Durban, South Africa and training perfectly well for the clash same as my teammates.
“The team spirit is quite high and we’re positive to get everything right on Saturday,” said the Nigerian playmaker to supersport.com.
The reverse fixture is expected to be held at the 35,000 seats Addis Ababa stadium on the weekend of April 3-5.
