Gayle inspires Palace to beat Burnley

Dwight Gayle scored twice as Crystal Palace came from two goals down to beat Burnley 3-2 on Saturday in the Premier League to continue their strong start under Alan Pardew.
Burnley led 2-0 after just 15 minutes through goals from Ben Mee and Danny Ings in a two-minute span. However, Gayle began the comeback in the 28th and Jason Puncheon equalized with a long-range strike three minutes after the break. Gayle then snatched the win in the 87th when he controlled a cross from Puncheon and slotted a low shot past goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
Palace have won two straight in the league since Pardew took over as manager and climbed to 12th place, but is still just four points outside the relegation zone.
Burnley are 17th, one point from the drop zone.
