Ajax seek vengeance against Aces

Ajax Cape Town will be targeting their second successive Absa Premiership victory when they host Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
The Urban Warriors are coming off a 3-1 away victory over SuperSport United in a league encounter on Sunday afternoon.
Tashreeq Morris, Prince Nxumalo as well as Toriq Losper were all on the scoresheet for the away side at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
This was Ajax's third victory in their last five league matches. The other two matches ended in defeats to Chippa United and Orlando Pirates.
Ajax are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership standings having accumulated 22 points from 17 matches.
Urban Warriors midfielder Bantu Mzwakali is looking forward to facing Aces and he feels that home ground advantage will give them the edge over their opponents.
"Well, I think it's going to be a competitive game for both teams and as you know Aces have been doing well and winning games," Mzwakali told SuperSport.com.
"But for us we have an advantage because we are playing at home and we really want to collect maximum points," the 22-year-old winger said.
"We are looking forward to winning this game and the boys have also been doing very well in training as we prepare for Aces."
Meanwhile, Aces will be desperate to return to winning ways when they travel to Cape Town to face Ajax on Wednesday.
AmaZayoni were held to a goalless stalemate by Bloemfontein Celtic at home in their previous league encounter last weekend.
This was Aces' second consecutive league draw. Prior to this they had recorded a victory over Chippa United at home.
Aces are placed third on the Absa Premiership standings having accumulated 35 points from 18 matches.
AmaZayoni goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters is optimistic that they will end their winless streak in the league by beating Ajax in their own backyard.
"Yes, definitely, we can overcome them away because I believe that we drew games we should have won in our previous league games," Walters told SuperSport.com.
"We created enough goalscoring opportunities to win those games. However, it will be tough because Ajax are at home and it is a total different team."
When Ajax and Aces clashed in the first-round encounter, the latter emerged 1-0 winners at the Mbombela Stadium in December, 2015.
Collins Mbesuma's first-half goal proved to be the difference between AmaZayoni and the Urban Warriors on the night.
