Enyimba captain and defender, Chinedu Udoji has said his side will not disappoint against the Ugandan opposite, Vipers SC.
The Nigerian champions will be the guests of East African side at the weekend clash in the preliminary round of Caf Champions League.
Udoji said the two-time African champions have prepared adequately to expect good result at their opponents den the 5000 seats Buikwe Bunamwaya Stadium, Wakiso Town.
“We will certainly pick good result against Vipers right there at their backyard to make the reverse fixture clash in Nigeria a lot easier.
“Nigerians can go to sleep with both eyes closed that we will never disappoint them in the championship.
“We had decent preparations helped greatly with the just concluded Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 tournament in Kaduna and Uyo.
“We are in high spirit and ready to deliver the goods at the appointed time, I’m confident we will come back home with good result.
“We know the Ugandan side will not come cheap but we have told ourselves we must pick good result from the clash.
“We want to recreate the side’s performances in same competition in 2003 and 2004 respectively,” said Udoji to supersport.com.
The People’s Elephant departed the nation’s shores on Tuesday to Kampala for the crucial match at the weekend.
