Bucs host Downs eyeing revenge

Orlando Pirates will be hoping for revenge as they host Mamelodi Sundowns in their Absa Premiership thriller on Wednesday night at Orlando Stadium.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
Eric Tinkler’s men have somewhat turned the corner after grabbing seven points out of nine in their previous three league matches.
They drew 0-0 against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby before beating Ajax Cape Town 2-1 and University of Pretoria 1-0 respectively.
Without a doubt, the Buccaneers are high in confidence after winning two matches in a row and meeting the Brazilians at home has come at the right time.
They will be out to avenge their 2-0 loss at the hands of the log leaders in December last year and this means the clash is set to be an interesting affair.
On the log, the Sea Robbers are placed in position seven from 17 matches with 23 points.
Coach Eric Tinkler believes that two wins in a row is huge boost and meeting Pitso Mosimane’s side is a motivation on its own.

"Two wins in a row is good, but we needed a lot more of this in our earlier games. We believed in ourselves and did well on Saturday,” said Tinkler.
"It was important to get the win, we needed this going into Sundowns. This was a massive three points and I'm happy for the boys.
"It'll be a big game (against Sundowns) where we'll be looking for three points to keep the momentum, but we are keeping our feet on the ground.
"Again I don't need to motivate the players, they are highly motivated for the game.”
Meanwhile the Brazilians are in a rich vein of form having been unbeaten in 11 league matches and they will also be motivated going to Soweto.
The Tshwane giants are currently leading the log standings with 42 points from 18 matches, leading Pirates by 19 points.
In their previous three matches, Sundowns beat Maritzburg united 3-2, Chippa United 3-0 before thumping Free State Stars 5-2 last weekend.
To former Buccaneers midfielder Teko Modise, Sundowns' aim is to take each and every game as it comes.
"We just want to play each and every game as it comes, hopefully we can achieve our goals," Modise said.
"It is still a long way to go, we just want to collect maximum points as we can and like I said before, we set ourselves a target on how to get there.
"We've been in this position before in the past couple seasons ago where we were in the first position and we ended up crumbling - we have rectified that.
"We know now that if maximum points are there for the taking we do so, and we play smart now."
