Eagles unsure of Akpan

Reading FC midfielder, Hope Akpan, could sit out Nigeria's 2015 Afcon qualifying match against South Africa in Uyo this Wednesday, supersport.com can report.
The 23-year-old is at present nursing a dislocated shoulder from the match against Congo, and is now a doubt for the game.
The former Everton man had to be taken off eight minutes into the second half of the match in Pointe-Noire on Saturday, and his place was taken by Hull City winger, Sone Aluko.
Akpan has now ruled out himself from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa's Bafana Bafana at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
"Right now I'm feeling a lot better, but I don't think I'll be available for the game against South Africa on Wednesday. Hopefully I should be back in a matter of days," he said.
A day after the African champions defeated Congo 2-0 to put life back into their chance of qualifying for next year's Afcon, Akpan had stated that he is thankful that his shoulder injury "wasn't anything worse."
Akpan has made two appearances for the Nigerian men's national in the Afcon qualifying matches against Sudan and Congo.
