Hard work key to Eagles' Afcon victory

Super Eagles defender Solomon Kwambe has said hard work will earn his side victory against their South African opponents, Bafana Bafana.
The 2013 Afcon champions will host South Africa in Wednesday's do or die match of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Akwa Ibom Stadium, Uyo.
Kwambe said hard work and faith in the Supreme Being have brought his side this far in the qualifying campaign and will certainly see them through against the South Africans.
"We've always depended on hard work and God in the past matches, we worked extremely hard against the Red Devils of Congo and at the end of the day we got the desired result.
"And against South Africa we're even doubling our work and hopefully we'll get the desired result that will see us secure the qualification ticket for the Afcon final in Equatorial Guinea.
"The coaches have already sounded it quite loud that we must forget the existing history that favours us against South Africa but pay undivided attention to the match at hand and aim at winning well in the clash.
"We never for once try to see South Africa as walkovers or pushovers; rather they've our deepest respect but we understand too that they're the hurdle standing between us and qualification for the 2015 Afcon final in Equatorial Guinea.
"Right now we're seeing the showdown as Cup final that must be won and we've no doubt in our minds that with our unwavering faith in God and hard work we'll come out victorious," said the Sunshine Stars strongman to supersport.com.
Nigeria are second on the log on seven points, four points behind leaders and opponents South Africa and need an outright victory to be guaranteed a ticket in the final of the biennial football showpiece in Equatorial Guinea.
