Norwegian football teen Martin Odegaard has been offered a five-year contract with Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, a report said Friday.
Spanish daily Marca reported that a possible signing could take place next month as Odegaard turns 16 on December 17.
The report suggested that terms included that the 15-year-old could continue to play on loan for his Norwegian team Stromsgodset or another Spanish premiership club.
Stromsgodset and Odeegard's father and agent declined to comment.
"There are so many rumours about Martin, and we will stick to our line that we will not comment until there is something concrete," Odegaard's father, Hans Erik, told the Drammens Tidende.
Odegaard and his father have earlier declined to comment reports that they recently visited Real Madrid's training facility.
A possible move from the Norwegian league would benefit Odegaard's development, football commentator Petter Veland said.
"I believe that the sooner he can play at a higher level, the better," said Veland, who follows Spanish football closely.
"The level at Real Madrid's first side is too high, but he could get good match experience with another La Liga side," he told Norwegian daily Dagbladet.
Odegaard has grabbed headlines this year as the youngest Norway football international, following his breakthrough in Norway's top flight.
Prior to Odegaard's debut for Norway at the end of August, his father said at least 30 European clubs had expressed interest in him.
