Ubido set agenda for Heartland

Heartland midfielder, Julius Ubido has said continental ticket will not elude the side irrespective of the coach in charge in the upcoming 2014/15 Glo Premier League season.
The Naze Millionaires are yet to find perfect replacement for the former head coach, Kelechi Emeteole who moved over to oriental neighbours, Enugu Rangers for the coming league season.
Ubido said the players quite appreciate and understand the importance of playing at the African stage to their individual career.
"Continental ticket is a top priority for Heartland in the upcoming league season as the players now understand that their market value and career profile are better enhanced when they showcase their skills at the continent.
"Though Heartland are yet to replace the out gone head coach, Kelechi Emeteole whoever that replaces him will have no option than to qualify the side for Africa.
"None of the old players were happy over our overall performance in the out gone league season and want to make amend," said the Nigerian playermaker to supersport.com.
Ubido said he remains 100% Heartland player at the moment but assured that the side will be properly informed at any point in time he decides to have a change of mind.
"I'm still with Heartland and will dutifully resume camp with the side on January 15 for the new season.
"Offers are around the corner but whenever I decide to take the any of the offers Heartland will be duly informed.
"Of course, at the career height I've achieved I must always do things right but right now I'm a bonafide player of Heartland, " said Ubido.
The Owerri-based outfit finished the immediate past season on the 10th position on not too impressive 55 points.
