Chigozie targets Zesco debut

After missing Zesco United's friendly matches against Mozambiques's Clube Ferroviaro De Beira and South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa, Nigerian star Christopher Chigozie is looking forward to his debut during the four-team tournament in Congo Democratic Republic.
The pacy winger, who joined Zesco in January, travelled with the contingent from their South African camp to Lubumbashi on Tuesday.
"I didn't play the matches in South Africa due to injury, but I hope to be fit for the tournament in Congo DR," he told supersport.com.
Zesco will play perennial Congolese and four-time African champions Tout Puissant Mazembe, Tanzanian champions Azam and another Congolese outfit, Cercle Sportif Don Bosco, during the four-team tournament.
The Nigerian comes with continental experience from Bayelsa United.
Zesco will play Swaziland outfit Mbabane Swallows in the preliminary round of the 2015 Caf Champions League in February.
