Zesco United off to Lubumbashi

Defending Faz Super League champions Zesco United head to DR Congo on Tuesday for a ten-day training camp.
Zesco will set-up base in Lubumbashi as guests of DR Congo champions TP Mazembe.
“The team leaves for Congo on Tuesday for ten days and will return home on February 4,” Zesco spokesperson Chengo Katebe said.
“We are taking with us a 25-man team and while there, we will participate in a four-team round-robin tournament organised by TP Mazembe.”
The four-club tournament will see Zesco play Mazembe, another DR Congo club Don Bosco and Tanzanian champions Azam.
Chengo said the draws for the tournament will be made on Tuesday in Lubumbashi.
This is Zesco’s second 2015 pre-season camp outside Zambia so far this month.
It comes just three days after returning from another ten day excursion to South Africa that ran from January 15-25.
