Andile Jali and Ayanda Patosi will be all-smiles together in the current Bafana Bafana camp, but when they return to Belgium next month will turn their eyes to an immediate clash between their club sides.
Jali’s KV Oostende host Patosi’s Lokeren in the first match of their Uefa Europa League play-offs on April 4 with the two clubs having been drawn together in Group B of Belgium’s post-season competition.
The other two sides they will face are Mouscron-Péruwelz and Westerlo, who should be no competition for the other two more fancied teams.
The side that finishes top in the mini-pool will face-off against the top team in Group A for a place in Europe’s secondary club competition next season.
That contains Anele Ngcongca’s Genk, who start their play-offs with a home clash against Zulte-Waregem on April 3.
Darren Keet’s Kortrijk are in the Championship play-offs for the league title and start against Gent on April 5.
