Al Merrikh head coach, Diego Garzitto, has disclosed that he will adopt another strategy when they face Esperance in the second leg in the Caf Champions League at the Stade Olympique de Rades.
The Sudanese giants won the first leg 1-0 against the Tunisian side at the Al Merrikh Stadium in Khartoum on Saturday.
Garzitto is happy with the outcome of that game and thumbed up his team and fans for showing up against their opponents.
"We played a very good game, and we deserved to win the game. My players did well and the fans played a good role too. They attended in big numbers and that gave us big support," Garzitto said.
"In the next match in Tunisia we will play with another strategy. We will be more careful and will do our best not to concede any goal. I know that will not be easy but we will do our best."
Al Merrikh will need to avoid defeat or at least lose 1-2 in Tunis to progress into the group stage of Africa's premier club competition.
