Heartland midfielder Julius Ubido has assured his side will get it right at Warri Wolves after Wednesday’s loss to neighbours Abia Warriors.
The Naze Millionaires will be the guests of Seasiders in Sunday’s Glo Premier League match day 6 encounter at the Warri Township Stadium.
Ubido said his side are determined to eke out at least a point at Wolves, aimed at pacifying their aggrieved supporters over the shocking home defeat to Warriors.
“I know for certain that we’ll get something positive at Warri Wolves when both sides clash on Sunday in Warri.
“We’ll strive to pick at least a point in the encounter to appease our fans and supporters who felt disappointed over the home loss to Abia Warriors.
“We outplayed Abia Warriors in the match, created several chances, but couldn’t convert any of the chances.
“We’ve been flawless on the road so far. We hope to continue on that path so that we can quickly reclaim the points ceded to Abia Warriors.
“We’re not expecting Warri Wolves to come cheap, we know it’ll be a difficult game after Wolves’ loss at Wikki Tourists but we will fight hard to avoid another defeat,” said Ubido to supersport.com.
Heartland have raked in a total of nine points from maximum 15 points in the five-week old Nigerian elite league though with a game in hand against champions, Kano Pillars.
