Chiefs deserved title - Papic

Polokwane City coach Kosta Papic was delighted for Kaizer Chiefs, who he felt thoroughly deserved to lift the Premiership title this season.
Papic, who is known to be uncompromising on his brand of football, said Chiefs were worthy champions this term and deserved every ounce of credit that they got for their league exploits.
"First of all congratulations to Kaizer Chiefs. In my opinion they deserve to win the League," said Papic on Wednesday night.
Rise & Shine suffered a heavy defeat against Amakhosi on Wednesday night but Papic was not in the least bit perturbed by the outcome because Chiefs are currently the best team in the country at the moment.
"From the beginning they started very well. They break the record which Orlando Pirates had of going 18 matches without a defeat which means the deserve it," he added.
"We came here to spoil the party, but we are enjoying the party. We tried and we didn't change anything for the match but we didn't convert chances.
"They have two defeats so far, which is if you look at the history of PSL. The team which wins the league is either they lost two or three matches in a season.
"The next team which lost more matches won't catch them anymore. Chiefs is playing a completely different style of football than others. They definitely deserve to win the league long time ago.
"It is good for a big club in the country like Chiefs to win the League three matches before the end."
