Lobi welcome Cameroonian duo

Following the success of Cameroonian full-back, Kingsley Ashu last term, Lobi Stars supremo, Dominic Iorfa, has opened the doors of the club to accommodate more Cameroonian imports, supersport.com can report.
Ashu joined ”The Pride of Benue” during the mid-season break from Wikki Tourists and worked his way to become an integral member as the club fought to preserve their top flight status.
Supersport.com learnt that midfielders: Yannick Djouaka and Guiabba Carlos, both from Cameroonian side, Sable de Batie, are already in Makurdi for assessment by the club’s technical crew led by Evans Ogenyi.
“The duo have been in Makurdi and we’re watching them closely,” Ogenyi said to supersport.com.
Supersport.com learnt that Lobi are also considering the option of adding strikers from another Cameroonian side, Racing Club de Baffousam, to boost their attack.
Ashu is expected to get an improved deal to enable him assist the new imports settle into the rigours of Nigerian football.
“It will be nice to have more Cameroonians in Lobi. I’m enjoying my stay here in Makurdi,” Ashu, who hails from Douala, told supersport.com.
Liberian striker, John Kollie, was the second foreigner at the club last term.
