Ahead of January's Ballon D'Or award the world's two best players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo shared the spoils in the Spanish League's season awards on Monday.
Messi was named "best player" for 2012/13 while Ronaldo won the "MVP" or player of the season award.
Both players are on the Fifa Ballon D'Or shortlist for the best player of 2013.
