Ocheme wants Giwa FC exit

Giwa FC central attacker, Edoh Ocheme, has passionately pleaded with the club proprietor, Ambassador Chris Giwa, to allow him play for Dolphins in the upcoming league season.
The former Crown FC marksman is badly wanted at the Garden City side who are campaigning in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Ocheme said he has opened meaningful discussion with the Port Harcourt based side aimed at engaging him for the coming 2014/15 Glo Premier League season but that his boss, Chris Giwa has rebuffed entreaties from the camp of the 2014 Federation Cup runners-up.
“As we speak I don’t see myself any longer as Giwa FC player as I want a change of environment for the upcoming league season.
“Good enough Dolphins have shown deep interest in having me in their camp and I’m favourably disposed to switch allegiance to the side.
“Unfortunately, my boss won’t want to hear that any side are interested in me and I don’t know why he is maintaining the position.
“He has refused every enquiry on me from Dolphins as well as refused to put a prize on my head.
“I’ve begged him to allow me go elsewhere to continue my football career but he won’t want to hear that. I’m still begging as well as enjoining other well meaning Nigerians to help me beg him to allow me to go where my mind is.
“I told him that I’m no more Giwa FC player as I want to change club, I’ve gone on my knees as well as involved few people to beg him to no avail.
“I never played continental previously and here I am with a golden opportunity on my lap to have a feel of continental duty but he is not obliging me the life time chance.
“Dolphins are ready to register me for the continental though a bit late right now as they’ve started the preliminary campaign but if I’m given the green light and Dolphins move to the group stage I stand a chance of being registered.
“He has continued to tell whoever that called him on my behalf to forget about me that I’m not going anywhere, I’m confused and tired as my body and spirit are no more with Giwa FC,” said the former Ranchers Bees hitman to supersport.com.
Supersport.com discovered that Ocheme is not the only one in the dilemma. The side’s captain, Charles Henlong, Amos Gyang, Olorunleke Ojo, Ifeanyi Nnaemena, are among others in the same plight.
