Sokari ready for Buffles test

Enyimba midfielder Kinglsey Sokari is confident his team can overcome Buffles du Borgou of Benin Republic on Sunday at the Enyimba Stadium in a first leg 2015 Caf Champions League preliminary round match.
Sokari, who scored a beautiful free kick in the Peoples Elephant's last warm-up match against Abia Warriors in preparation for the game, is optimistic the 2003 and 2004 winners will come good on Sunday.
"We are fully prepared for the game. I believe we will win convincingly come Sunday," he told supersport.com.
"Last season's experience in the Champions League will help us to do better this time round. I want the fans to be behind us and give us their support.
"Nigerian football has been on a low recently, we hope to put smiles on the faces of our fans and supporters."
Enyimba had a yo-yo performance at the recent Super Four tournament in Abuja and there has been news that the players are disenchanted with the lack of payment of the entitlements.
Sokari, however, feels that will not count for anything as the team is fully focused on the game on Sunday and starting the competition on a good note.
"We have our issues, yes, but that isn't something that is on our minds right now. All we are focused on is the game on Sunday," Sokari said.
"The boys are fired up, I'm also looking forward to the game with great anticipation. I hope I can score in the game, but I also wish we can win with a big margin so it will put us in a good stead as we head to the second leg.
"Let me also add that we have been paid a percentage of our entitlements, so that will also ginger us to victory."
The return leg against Buffles will be in Benin on the weekend of February 27.
