Latif Blessing is a huge talent, no one doubts that. But now he is really blowing his horn.
He has, brashly, stated that he has all the qualities of a great footballer than Yahaya Mohammed. The Aduana Stars player has been a constant feature in the league for the last five years, but Latif feels he is a better player.
“I am ahead of Yahaya Mohammed when it comes to all the qualities expected of a great footballer: Dribbling, speed, header and strength. People even get surprised the kind of strength I exhibit in football because of my small size.
“One paramount thing in football that makes and unmakes players is discipline and on that score too I am better than Yahaya Mohammed. I hardly challenge referees or have problems with my coaches,” he told Happy FM.
The new season starts on Saturday and Yahaya Mohammed, who is remembered for having a good 2012/13 season at Amidaus, will look to reply the young Latif in the coming months.
