Fileccia goes back to Belgium

Free State Stars striker Andrea Fileccia has returned home to Belgium to recover after knee surgery that is expected to rule him out for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old forward was the top scorer at the club with six goals before having his knee broken by Bloemfontein Celtic defender Mbhazima Rikhotso last month.
Fileccia was forced off after a horrible tackle in the 17th minute of the provincial derby match and has since undergone surgery before returning to Europe to convalesce.
Free State Stars had a change of heart and decided to retain Fileccia at the start of the season after he had insisted on seeing out his contract.
Fileccia had a disappointing first season, starting four games (plus one substitute appearance) last season, the last of which was at the beginning of December, and was unsuccessful in getting his name on the score sheet.
But his fortunes turned around in the first six months of this season as he stared to bang in the goals for the club.
