Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) are on the verge of naming one these coaches, Henry Abiodun, Zachary Baraje or Kadiri Ikhana as technical adviser for the coming 2015/16 top flight.
The former helmsman, Gbenga Ogunbote has pitch tent with the Tin City side, Giwa FC.
An unnamed official said the Oluyole Warriors will decide on or before Wednesday who becomes the substantive technical adviser to guide the side for the coming league season.
“3SC will name a capable replacement for coach Gbenga Ogunbote as technical adviser either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
“We have a capable coach in the person of Bright Omokaro who is fully in-charge of the team’s preparations for the coming season so there is no vacuum in that direction.
“There were strong speculations that Kadiri Ikhana would be unveiled last week right now you and I know that there was nothing like that.
“Ikhana is nowhere near Ibadan as we speak, he was expected on Friday but we learnt he chose to go for the unveiling ceremony at newcomers, Ikorodu United.
“We hope he will show up today (Monday) to possibly have discussion with the management but up to now (Monday) he has not applied for the job.
“Henry Abiodun has actually applied and equally had discussion with the management.
“Zachary Baraje was our former coach a successful one has shown interest but I do not know the level of interest.
“However, the three coaches mentioned are capable and acceptable too to the entire team and certain to perform creditably well for the side in the coming season.
“It’s hoped that one of them will be named technical adviser hopefully in the next one or two days,” said the unnamed source to supersport.com.
Ogunbote guided the Ibadan landlords to ninth finish on 53 points at the out gone league season.
