Bloemfontein Celtic will be eager to build on their morale-boosting win at the weekend when they host SuperSport United in an Absa Premiership clash at Free State Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
Siwelele ended a 10-match winless streak with a 2-1 victory over title-chasing Bidvest Wits to bring some relief to Serame Letsoaka and his technical team.
The former Golden Arrows coach headed to Bloemfontein having worked wonders at the newly promoted side, but a barren run of form has seen Celtic drop out of the top eight.
Letsoaka, a former Matsatsantsa assistant coach, has called for patience ahead of the clash against his former employers, but is happy with the sense of belief the win has brought to the club.
“Building needs patience even though results are paramount. Our game against Bidvest Wits has proven our ability to cause havoc especially moving forward," said Letsoaka.
"It will be a different game playing against a team with exceptionally talented players like Supersport United though
“The atmosphere even at training has suddenly changed with players joking, not afraid to make mistakes and that is a positive sign moving towards our next game."
Kaitano Tembo took charge of SuperSport on Saturday evening following Gordon Igesund's sacking, guiding the club to their first win of the New Year, beating Free State Stars 1-0.
With Stuart Baxter set to take over the reins in midweek, Tembo believes Matsatsantsa are on the up.
"You can see where the team is, in the position on the log, the teams that are below us managed to get points so we needed this victory [against Stars]. The team needed this victory. It is always about the team," said Tembo.
"We have to take it one game at a time and see where we end up.
"Wednesday is another tough game, the victory against Stars is a confidence booster, it is not easy to play Celtic at home and hopefully we will take a lot from this victory."
In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Celtic have met in 44 league matches since 1990.
Each side has claimed 11 wins against the other, while 22 matches have been drawn.
Celtic have won six of their 22 home league matches against SuperSport, suffering four defeats in the process.
Earlier this season the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Tshwane, with Bradley Grobler netting for the hosts while Geofrey Massa scored from the penalty spot for the away side.
The teams have played out four 1-1 draws in their last seven league meetings.
