Hearts delight for Dauda

Abiola Dauda is excited with the prospect of pulling on a Heart of Midlothian FC shirt in the Scottish top-flight after sealing a loan move to the club on deadline day of the January transfer window.
Dauda explained that his decision to join Hearts from Dutch Eredivisie side, Vitesse Arnhem, was down to the telephone discussion he had with the Jambos manager, Robbie Neilson.
He described Neilson's kind words of admiration for him as "a dream" to be rated highly by a coach.
However, he recognises that he would have to replicate the faith Neilson has shown in him on the pitch.
“I’m really happy to have signed, it’s been a long day but this has been worth waiting for.
“I’ve had a great welcome here. I spoke with Robbie on the phone and he told me he has followed me for quite a while now, and as a player it is a dream to hear a coach say that.
“Now I have to go on the pitch and show him he made the right decision. I’m really looking forward to meeting my teammates and learning the team’s style of play,” Dauda told Hearts TV after his move to Tynecastle Stadium.
The 27-year-old scored three league goals in 11 appearances, including four starts, for Vitesse before he moved to Hearts on Monday.
