Chambeshi rues Ngokane absence

Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi says he will miss the services of suspended goalkeeper Scott Ngokane in this Sunday’s Kitwe derby clash against Power Dynamos.
The Nkana number one was red carded last Saturday after allegedly insulting referee Stanley Hachiwa, when he ignored a suspected offside call by Eagles in a Faz Super League match that ended scoreless.
Ngokane, who arrived at Nkana this season from Napsa Stars, has made the number one jersey his own after stepping straight into the job when Rabson Muchelenganga was injured in the pre-season.
“The guy has been fantastic and we will miss him for this game but for sure we have two goalkeepers who can seal that that position; we have Charles Mweemba and Rabson Muchelenganaga,” Chambeshi said.
However, Muchelenganga and Mweemba did not see any action against Eagles after Ngokane’s expulsion as Nkana had exhausted their substitutes forcing Chambeshi to drop winger Shadreck Musonda into goals.
Ngokane has not disappointed so far in goals despite Nkana’s poor start to the 2015 season conceding just three goals in six matches.
Meanwhile, Nkana head into their derby minus Ngokane sitting in 10th place on 6 points, four behind their guests this weekend Power and another eight points adrift of leaders Zanaco.
