Hector Chilombo has been fired after a poor start to the 2015 Faz Super League season that has seen Napsa pick up just four points from their opening six matches with one win and a draw.
He leaves Napsa second from bottom of the table in 15th place.
Napsa trace their only win this season to the first day of the campaign on March 14 when they beat National Assembly 3-1.
“The technical bench has proceeded on an indefinite leave to review the poor performance of the team,” Napsa secretary Owen Chimpinde said.
“The caretaker coach is Godfrey Hamakwenda who will be assisted by Harry Milanzi.”
His removal was hastened following Saturday’s 4-0 away loss to league leaders Zanaco to see Napsa suffer their third successive defeat in which they failed to score, while they have conceded nine goals.
Chilombo has been in charge of Napsa since the start of the 2014 season after leaving his post at Forest Rangers.
He guided Napsa to a fifth-place finish last year and the semifinals of the Barclays Cup where they lost 2-0 to eventual winners Zesco United.
Chilombo is the fourth coaching casualty in the Super League this season after Dabid Chilufya of Forest including Nkana assistant’s Zeddy Saileti and Gift Kampamba.
