Stars game key for AmaZulu

All games are vital for AmaZulu in the remaining weeks of the season but Wednesday’s Absa Premiership clash at home to Platinum Stars has the potential to set the tone for the remainder of their campaign.
Usuthu look to be in a two-horse race for survival with Moroka Swallows as both clubs sit on 23 points with four games remaining.
One will finish bottom of the league and be automatically relegated, while for the other there is likely to be the difficult journey through the Promotion/Relegation Playoffs.
Swallows could forge ahead tonight when they travel to University of Pretoria, but AmaZulu defender Robyn Johannes says victory over Stars would give his side key momentum going into the final weeks of the campaign.
“This will determine where we are going and as I have said before we have cup finals on our hands so we need to keep our heads high and concentrate,” he told his club’s website, before adding he felt the teams above the dup were still in trouble.
“We have a strong team and I believe that even the teams that have about 30 points are still not safe so far.
“We must go and play our game and not rely on other teams to do our job and we can take it from there.”
