Duo desperate to climb up log

Vipers and Express return to action in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) on Friday desperate to climb up the log. Five games are lined up on the day.
Vipers, first round leaders, will be playing their first match of the second period when they travel to Jinja to take on Sadolin Paints at Bugembe Stadium.
Coach Edward Golola’s 2010 league winners are third in the log on 35 points, four and one behind leaders SC Villa and KCC, who are not in action on the day, respectively. Vipers, however, have two games in hand on the leading duo.
Wasswa Bbosa’s Express; a distant eighth on 21 points from 16 games, are desperate to pick their first win after losing their first second round match 2-1 to Lweza.
The Red Eagles travel to Bugonga to face home side Entebbe, who are also desperate to pick their first victory of the second round.
In Bombo, the locals will be treated to a security forces derby when army side Simba play host to Police. Both sides are yet to pick victories in the second round.
SCVU are also looking for their first victory of the round having fallen 1-0 to resilient Rwenshama last week. They face Kira at Namboole.
