The Egyptian Football Association has decided to change the venue of the stage 32 match for Zamalek in Caf Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will wait for the winners of Rayon Sports of Rwanda and Panthere Sportive du Nde of Cameroon. The game in Egypt will be held on March 14.
"We changed the Venue of Zamalek's match in the Caf Confederation Cup to be held at the El Gounah Stadium after it was supposed to be at the Cairo International Stadium," Egypt FA official Tharwt Swilam said.
"We decided to change the venue after recommendation from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior that the game should be in El Gouna for security reasons."
The Egyptian Premier League has been suspended for days now after 22 Zamalek fans were killed before their team's match against ENPPI at the Air Defense Stadium.
