Zamalek hook Ferreira on short-term

Zamalek board member, Ahmed Mortada Mansour, has revealed that they have completed the signing of Portuguese coach, Jesualdo Ferreira, for six months.
The Giza-based club started their search for a new coach in January after the departure of former coach, Jamie Pacheco.
Zamalek talked with Jorvan Vieira but failed to reach an agreement before they decided negotiate with Ferreira.
"We travelled to Portugal and we met the coach (Ferreira) and we accepted his terms. We will arrive in Cairo on Friday then will hold a press conference next Monday," Mansour said.
"We signed six months contract and we may extend it."
Zamalek had appointed Pacheco assistant coach, Mohamed Salah, as caretaker coach till they hire a new man.
About Salah's future, Mansour said: "Salah will lead the next game against ENNPI on Sunday while Ferreira will only watch the game before he starts work ahead of the match against Al Ghaish next Wednesday."
Zamalek are currently leading the Egyptian league with 44 point.
